The Igwe of Umuoji HRH Igwe Dr Cyril Enweze was the special guest of honour for Atlanta 2008 convention.
In his landmark address to Umuoji People at the Convention, the Igwe announced among other initiatives, a program to provide an interest free loan to 46 widows (two per village from all 23 villages in Umuoji).
Details of this program will be announced during the upcoming Ofala festival in December 28th- 29th 2008 .
The Igwe also made a whopping donation of $3000 to help UIU-USA in thier rehabilitation project of Umuoji Boys High School.
