UIU-USA accomplished a Historic Milestone

UIU-USA accomplished a Historic Milestone

Umuibe,

It is with great sense of pride that I bring to you the news of completion of the first phase of our project in Umuoji Boys High School.

You will recall that the UIU National Executive Council and our President Dr Fidelis Onyimba had previously announced the appointment of four eminent Umuojians comprising of Late Dr. Michael Sunny Agina, Engr. Cletus Okonkwo, Mr. Peter Azogini and Mr. Pius Okaneme to carry out an extensive feasibility study for the construction of fence wall and installation of gates around the compound of Umuoji Boys High school.

The first phase of this project covering 25 partitions out of 325 partitions including construction and installation of 2 gates is now complete.

Fellow Umuojians, this is really a very historic moment. It marked the first time in the 8 years history of UIU-USA that a significant project of this nature was initiated and completed.

All members of UIU-USA and indeed every Umuojian should be very proud of this great accomplishment. This journey of a thousand miles has began with a major first step.

We are now calling on all Umuojians in USA to join us in Atlanta - July 5th 2008 so that we can raise enough money to complete this project and bring back the lost accreditation of Umuoji Boys.

Now is the time to stand up and be counted among the building partners of Umuoji. Please join us in Atlanta to find ways to help our brothers in Umuoji.

See below the pictures of the fence wall and gates
